Imraan Lockhat
Managing Partner
Imraan Lockhat was born on 18th August 1979. In 1997 he matriculated at Durban High School on a full scholarship after achieving a top- three placing. He completed his BComm at the University of Natal, Durban. In 2003 he completed his Honours in Accounting at the University of Natal. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2006, he spent three years in commerce and industry before moving into private practice in 2008.
His areas of expertise include SARS audits, Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques, Strategic Business Consulting, External and Internal Auditing.

Rohith Ramsarup
ASSOCIATE
Rohith Ramsarup was born on 08th September 1967. He joined D. Boodhram & Co. in 1988. Rohith completed a Pitman Bookkeeping programme in 1990 and has since specialised in bookkeeping and management accounts with an emphasis on personalised client service. He has been with the practice since its inception and is deeply familiar with the financial operations of many of its clients.
His areas of expertise include Accounting and Administration, Tax Compliance, Close Corporation Secretarial matters and Management Consulting.

Ismail Lockhat
PARTNER
Ismail Lockhat was born on 22nd July 1983. In 2001 he matriculated from DHS (Durban High School) after which he completed he completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies through the University of South Africa while simultaneously completing his articles at Nexia Levitt Kirson. Ismail qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008, and is also a part-time lecturer at the University of South Africa and Varsity College.
His areas of expertise include International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Consolidations, Attorneys Trust Audits, and Education.

Ahmed Paruk
PARTNER
Ahmed was born on 15th May 1989. He began his career at Lockhat Inc as the firm’s first article clerk and has risen through the ranks to become a Partner. A Chartered Accountant and IT Auditor, he brings a strong entrepreneurial spirit, having co-founded a successful burger restaurant brand alongside his professional practice.
His hands-on business experience gives him unique insight into the challenges faced by growing enterprises, making him a trusted advisor in Virtual CFO services, Management Consulting. IT and Payroll.

Priya Singh
PARTNER
Priya was born on 20th June 1986. She began her career in 2005 and has been at Lockhat incorporated since inception. She brings with her nearly two decades of experience and is a qualified chartered accountant and registered auditor, with her recent appointment as Partner at Lockhat Incorporated. She runs a diverse portfolio of clients, with core expertise in auditing, ensuring ISA compliance and risk management, and excelling at financial reporting. Priya demonstrates long-term
commitment and leadership, aligning with the firm’s philosophy, and is a dedicated to training and mentoring young chartered accountants, embodying technical excellence, integrity, and strong client relationship management.
